About the Journal

Nutrición Clínica y Dietética Hospitalaria has been published without interruption since 1980, making it one of the oldest in Spanish in its field. It is the expression organ of the Spanish Society of Dietetics and Food Sciences (SEDCA), a scientific entity founded in 1986, and its 'Healthy Eating' foundation has edited it since 2006.  
Our Magazine supports original research articles on food, nutrition and dietetics written in the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese and English.
This publication adheres to the Open Access system for free access to scientific research (all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access)

This second volume of our journal in 2025 confirms its impact in the field of nutrition and food science and technology. Thus, in the last year, the publication has received more than 64,000 visitors. In 2024 we received 258 originals of which 164 were published, with a rejection rate of 37%. At this time in 2025, we have already received 78 originals from European, American and Asian authors.
