About the Journal
Nutrición Clínica y Dietética Hospitalaria has been published without interruption since 1980, making it one of the oldest in Spanish in its field. It is the expression organ of the Spanish Society of Dietetics and Food Sciences (SEDCA), a scientific entity founded in 1986, and its 'Healthy Eating' foundation has edited it since 2006.
Our Magazine supports original research articles on food, nutrition and dietetics written in the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese and English.
This publication adheres to the Open Access system for free access to scientific research (all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access)

At the end of the summer season, the publishing activity continues and we will shortly close this third issue of volume 45.
We inform our readers that on October 28 we will organize a conference on controversies and health aspects of the consumption of alcoholic beverages. It can be followed in person or remotely.
We are also preparing our International Congress in March 2026. They can prepare their communications and consult the possibilities of intervention from their country.
