About the Journal

Nutrición Clínica y Dietética Hospitalaria has been published without interruption since 1980, making it one of the oldest in Spanish in its field. It is the expression organ of the Spanish Society of Dietetics and Food Sciences (SEDCA), a scientific entity founded in 1986, and its 'Healthy Eating' foundation has edited it since 2006.  
Our Magazine supports original research articles on food, nutrition and dietetics written in the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese and English.
This publication adheres to the Open Access system for free access to scientific research (all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access)

2026 begins with important improvements in the edition of our journal with the aim of increasing the reach of the articles we publish and the dissemination of the work of all the authors who trust us. Thus, from the first issue of volume46 we will gradually incorporate the accepted texts in html format (and not only in PDF as was the case until now) in a Web with an improved appearance.

On the other hand, we confirm that regular authors of our journal will participate as lecturers in the XIX International Congress of the Spanish Dietetic Society that will be held (in person and remotely) from Madrid next April. The abstracts of the free communications will be published in a supplement of our journal.
