About the Journal

Nutrición Clínica y Dietética Hospitalaria has been published without interruption since 1980, making it one of the oldest in Spanish in its field. It is the expression organ of the Spanish Society of Dietetics and Food Sciences (SEDCA), a scientific entity founded in 1986, and its 'Healthy Eating' foundation has edited it since 2006.  
Our Magazine supports original research articles on food, nutrition and dietetics written in the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese and English.
This publication adheres to the Open Access system for free access to scientific research (all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access)

We have recently held our XVIII International Congress on Food, Nutrition and Dietetics, which this year was held on the campus of the European University of Madrid. It was possible to attend it both in person and online. More than 400 participants had the opportunity to attend the different conferences.

On this occasion, a lot of importance has been given to the practical part that has had workshops specially designed for this occasion. As always, the free communications presented at the congress will be published immediately in our journal in a special supplement. In addition, some of our international authors were able to present a summary of their scientific contributions online.
