Rendimiento físico según porcentaje de grasa corporal y masa libre de grasa en jóvenes futbolistas amateurs chilenos

Resumen

Este estudio comparó el rendimiento físico según el porcentaje de grasa corporal y la masa libre de grasa en jóvenes futbolistas amateurs. En segundo lugar, analizar si existe correlación entre el porcentaje de grasa corporal y la masa libre de grasa con el rendimiento físico. Métodos: Se trata de un estudio transversal en el que se analizaron 65 jóvenes futbolistas amateurs con una edad media de 16,8 ± 5,14 años, distribuidos según el porcentaje de grasa corporal y masa libre de grasa por debajo de la media y por encima de la media. Resultados: Los principales resultados indican una menor velocidad de patada del balón con el pie dominante en jugadores con un porcentaje de grasa corporal sobre la media (p = 0,01; d = 3,90; efecto muy grande) y balón de sprint de 20 m (p = 0,02; d = 1,40 efecto muy grande). Mientras que en masa libre de grasa por encima de la media en salto en sentadilla (p = 0,00; d = 1,70; efecto muy grande), salto con caída (p = 0,00; d = 1,91, efecto muy grande), balón sprint de 10 m (p = 0,00; d = 1,20; efecto muy grande), sprint de 20 m (p = 0,00; d = 0,83; efecto muy grande), balón sprint de 20 m (p = 0,00; d = 1,40; efecto muy grande), velocidad de patada del balón con el pie dominante (p = 0,00; d = 3,90; efecto muy grande) y velocidad de patada del balón con el pie no dominante (p = 0,00; d = 2,80; efecto muy grande). Conclusión: Una masa libre de grasa por encima de la media y un porcentaje de grasa corporal por debajo en jóvenes futbolistas amateurs conduce a un mejor rendimiento de salto, velocidad de sprint y velocidad de patada de balón.
